SMS Consent
Public reference page for the SuperHandles SMS / MMS opt-in flow. Last updated: May 14, 2026.
- SMS consent is optional.
- The opt-in checkboxes are unchecked by default.
- You can complete signup, purchase, and use SuperHandles without opting in.
- Reply STOP to any SuperHandles text to opt out.
- Phone numbers and SMS consent status are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
1. How members opt in
SuperHandles members may choose to receive SMS / MMS messages from SuperHandles through either of two opt-in paths. Both paths use the exact same consent checkboxes (unchecked by default) and the exact same checkbox language shown below.
Path 1 — Signup
New members reach the SMS-consent checkboxes after completing Stripe Checkout, on the welcome page at https://app.superhandles.com/membership/welcome. The checkbox sits below the password field and a labeled "Cell phone (optional)" field. Checking the box is not required to create an account or use the service.
Path 2 — Account settings
Logged-in members may opt in (or out) at any time from their account settings at https://app.superhandles.com/accountunder the "Phone + SMS" section. The same checkbox copy is shown.
2. The exact checkbox language
Members see TWO separate checkboxes — one for Marketing SMS, one for Transactional SMS — both unchecked by default. The two categories are presented distinctly in the form HTML so members can clearly see they are agreeing to two different message types.
Marketing texts checkbox
“Get SuperHandles news, new releases, special offers, and the occasional voicenote from Supe — straight to your phone. Roughly 1–6 texts a month. Standard message and data rates may apply. Text STOP anytime to opt out. Text HELP for support.”
Training updates checkbox
“Get training updates from SuperHandles by text — your Supe-Brief workout summary, Action Score changes, Shooting Stats, SuperHandles Standards progress, and personal-record alerts when you set new ones. Up to 35 texts a month. Standard message and data rates may apply. Text STOP anytime to opt out. Text HELP for support.”
Supporting disclosure shown below the checkboxes
“Consent isn't a condition of buying anything or using SuperHandles. Read the Terms and Privacy Policy.”

Captured from https://app.superhandles.com/account → Phone + SMS section. Members can edit at any time.
4. Types of messages we may send
When a member opts in, they may receive any of the following message types from SuperHandles:
- Supe-Brief workout summaries — short SMS recap of a logged training session (Action Score, key reps, notable PRs).
- Action Score updates — the daily training-load metric.
- Shooting stats — make / attempt totals and percentages from logged shooting workouts.
- SuperHandles Standards progress — when a member crosses a threshold on one of the published SuperHandles Standards benchmarks.
- Personal-record (PR) alerts — when a member sets a new best in a tracked exercise or drill.
- Weekly training summaries — a Monday recap of the prior week's work.
- Occasional voicenotes from Supe — short MMS audio messages with coaching commentary, delivered alongside the Supe-Brief.
- Occasional SuperHandles news, releases, and offers — for example, new training programs, store releases, or member-only promotions.
Message frequency varies by member training cadence and SuperHandles announcement timing. Most workout- based messages are triggered by a member logging a workout; news / release messages are sent infrequently.
Msg & data rates may apply, depending on the member's mobile carrier and plan.
